Landscapes Unlimited served as the turnkey design build contractor for Sewailo Golf Course, delivering an 18 hole championship course along with irrigation across more than 300 acres of golf and landscape areas. The project included 1.5 miles of stream bank management, nine acres of lakes, practice facilities, and supporting infrastructure. In partnership with the Pascua Yaqui Tribe, the project prioritized environmental stewardship by salvaging more than 6,000 native and endangered plants, which were harvested, maintained, and replanted to create a landscape featuring over 36,000 trees and plants supported by water conserving drip irrigation and native vegetation. The scope also included construction of a 9,100 square foot maintenance facility with material bins, fuel island, wash pad, parking, and paved access. The completed Sewailo Golf Course reflects a balance of playability, sustainability, and cultural respect while showcasing Landscapes Unlimited’s expertise in large scale golf course construction.
