Landscapes Unlimited has appointed Larry Barefield as senior project manager.

Over nearly 30 years, Barefield has become one of the golf industry’s most respected project managers.  His versatility will benefit Landscapes Unlimited’s new golf course builds and renovations spanning private, daily-fee and resort operations.

Supervising company field managers, Barefield will also closely collaborate with golf course owners, architects and others integral to the process of delivering decidedly positive experiences to all involved, including golfers.

(LINCOLN, Neb.) – Landscapes Unlimited leadership will participate in the groundbreaking of the private, destination Contentment Golf Club in Traphill, N.C. on Wednesday, October 25.

An invitation-only open house for prospective members is Thursday, October 26 with tours of the golf course site and a dinner gathering at the Traphill site.

Over the past 18 months, Landscapes Unlimited’s Project Development Group has overseen all aspects of site planning, design and engineering, permitting, contractor selection, project administration and budget planning.  The company is set to build an 18-hole, championship golf course and direct clubhouse and amenity development.  Counterpart Landscapes Golf Management is undertaking membership strategies, business and operational planning, on the ground pre-opening activities and will assist with the course grow-in and grand opening.

Landscapes Unlimited Begins Phase II Project Work at Cullasaja Club | golfcoursetrades.com

Golf course developer and construction company Landscapes Unlimited has begun Phase II of golf course renovations at the private Cullasaja Club in Highlands, N.C., equidistant from Asheville, N.C. and Greenville, S.C.
